As a Service Engineer at Pfannenberg Sales America, you will be heavily engaged and involved with a customer focused team helping to develop business and support the end-user customer base.
Pfannenberg is a global manufacturer of industrial Panel Air-Conditioners, filter fans, air-to-water heat exchangers, air-to-air heat exchangers, packaged chillers, and industrial signaling products.
As a Sales Engineer in our Services business unit, you will have the opportunity to sell repair programs, sell and support maintenance programs, sell installation packages, and more.
You will work hand in hand with Service Partners, utilizing their resources to support our outside sales team and grow business together.
Responsibilities and Duties Understand and implement Company targets and job requirements, as defined by supervisor, within Company standards and guidelines.
Work in a systematic, independent, analytical manner and implement duties in a timely fashion.
Continually improve performance, share competence and offer improvement ideas for your department and the company.
Maintain a high level of service to all internal and external customers.
Function in a team environment that supports departmental and company goals.
Support field service calls from customers and 3rd party Service Partners.
Record necessary information to support Service credit for replacement unit.
Manage Service Module to support customer satisfaction and provide sales after service approach.
Support training program for in house training of qualified Service Centers.
Develop and write service and installation instructions for spare parts and preventative maintenance programs.
Implement new Service Module and help integrate Information into reporting and customer service.
Develop training ideas and tech notes with videos that can be web based.
Implement SharePoint Service Complaint Module.
Issue and support RMA system for retuning units to stock.
Travel to complete Field Commissioning for Chiller startups and service.
Implement Shop floor management system monitor and report.
Organize Shop Floor meeting once per week for review of management system.
Qualifications and Skills HVAC / Electrical background is a plus Excellent communication skills Problem-solving skills Use of CRM Software such as Salesforce Proficiency in Microsoft:
Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, ERP, and SharePoint Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
